Summer is the peak season for most of the world, but fall is one of our favorite times to travel: temperatures are warming in the southern hemisphere, cooling in the north and crowds are less many everywhere. The September and October trips allow travelers to get interesting offers on airline tickets, avoid the rush of tourists and enjoy the weather. Here are our best choices for the fall of 2019!

Quebec City

Nothing says more "autumn" than to change leaves! Eastern Canada has some of the most
spectacular fall foliage on the planet, and in the historic city of Quebec you
will feel all the charms of Europe, with no jet lag.
Greece
Do you dream of whitewashed buildings, clear blue waters and
cliffs? Visit Greece in September to
avoid the summer rush that usually results in inflated prices, massive tourists
and heat waves. There is still plenty of sun if you visit during the high
season and you will discover this amazing country with a little more space to
breathe!
Croatia
The months of September and October are fabulous months to
visit Croatia, as the weather is still warm enough and sunny to swim in the
cerulean waters and the crowd is kept to a minimum. You can always spend sunny
days on the beaches of Dubrovnik and avoid the worst of the crowd in high
season while visiting the city walls.
San Miguel de Allende
Ranked among the top ten cities in the world to live in, there
is something truly magical in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Situated on a
mountainside with colorful colonial architecture, lively festivals and friendly
locals, it's easy to understand why people love it. See you at the end of
October / beginning of November and take part in the colorful celebrations of
the Day of the Dead.
South Africa
Spring in the southern hemisphere is the perfect time to
visit South Africa. In September, the climate is ideal. Afternoon storms rarely
interfere with safari programs, so you have ample opportunity to spot the
"Big Five" in Kruger and
other wildlife parks.
New Zealand
Since the New Zealand Spring beginning in September, it's a
great month to go to the Southern Hemisphere! It's hot, but not too hot, and
you'll be able to beat the rush that usually occurs in December, during the
summer of the Kiwi. You will also get an extra hour of light when the Kiwis
will advance their clock on September 27th!
Buenos Aires
Our Argentinian colleagues in Buenos Aires tell us that the
best time to visit their beautiful city is late October: the southern spring
brings warm temperatures, but the summer days are not yet hot and tense. And if
you visit this time of year, you'll see the city's amazing jacquard flowers
blooming in the parks and along the avenues.
